Chapman Heights Elementary

YCJUSD Families and Team, Power is now out at Ridgeview Elementary School, Valley Elementary School, Park View Middle School, and Yucaipa High School. Southern California Edison’s (SCE) outage map indicates these could be eight-hour outages however, they are continually assessing the fire risk and could turn on the power at any time. The same applies to our other schools, SCE will continue to assess the situation and may turn off power at additional schools. We apologize for the last-minute change and will continue to keep you posted. Students at the affected schools can remain on campus. Instructional programs and nutrition services will continue. We are assessing areas of low light and providing generator/battery-powered lighting. Internet and phones are down districtwide due to the outages.
