Summer Jump Start

Our district is planning a free summer Jump Start program for grades TK-8. If you are interested in enrolling your student(s), please submit one form for each student in your household.

We will be having two separate summer sessions:

Session 1: June 9th - June 25th (No Jump Start on June 19th)

Session 2: June 29th - July 15 (No Jump Start on July 3rd)

You may enroll your student in more than one session. The sessions will occur Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (excluding holidays). The Jump Start location has yet to be determined due to facility maintenance projects throughout the district. Once a location has been selected, we will send out the site and address information. CECA will run its own Jump Start program using the same dates and times.

STARS (ELOP= Expanded Learning Opportunity Program) will be available daily at the conclusion of Jump Start from 12pm- 5pm.

Transportation is provided on a limited basis. YCJUSD will offer transportation to the Jump Start program from designated locations, which will be determined after enrollment is finalized. It is important to note that transportation will only run to get students to the beginning of Jump Start (8am) and the end of the STARS day (5pm). There is no transportation provided mid-day.

The Deadline to enroll is May 11th at 4pm.

The Extended School Year (ESY) program is separate from this enrollment. If your child is eligible for ESY, you will be contacted directly.
